Join City Yoga for a celebration of the New Year by
challenging yourself to complete a Yoga Mala of 108 Sun
Salutations. For centuries, Yogis have honored and given gratitude to the sun with Surya Namaskar. The challenge is not about simply completing 108 salutations. It’s an opportunity for yogis to collectively break free from the past and set a powerful intention for the upcoming year.

Invite your friends and family to sponsor you for as many or as few Sun Salutations as you want. All donations for the event will go to the Anaphylaxis Campaign to help support the growing number of people at risk of severe allergic reactions.

Yoga On The Ball

Yoga On The Ball

Bringing Yoga and Ball work together is challenging and surprisingly rewarding, especially for the mind. Yoga on the ball demands control of the breath, an understanding of the body's alignment and the innate harnessing of the mind. The stability ball gives additional depth to traditional Yoga postures and engages the core muscles from start to finish. Muscles are isolated whilst the ball takes the weight so joints are supported at the same time.

It starts as a simple routine that is achievable and it can progress to higher levels of difficulty, making it suitable for beginners and advanced practitioners alike. It helps to tone the body, lose weight and it is fun too!

Limited spaces available. Advance booking necessary.

This workshop will focus on partner work to help each other explore yoga poses to a new level. You do not need to bring a partner, there will be other people to partner up with on the day. This workshop is open to beginners/experienced/teachers. All are welcome for a nourishing, inspiring and fun afternoon.

Partner Yoga allows us to share yoga poses in a restorative and fun way. Through joint forward/backward bends, twists, inversions and balances, we can gain strength, balance, endurance, flexibility and fluidity together. Allowing another person to guide us deeper into postures often allows us to reach a new level of openness and softness.
